Troubleshooting Issues


MCP Server Not Detected

  • Restart your IDE to reload the MCP configuration.

  • Verify that the configuration file exists in the correct path and contains valid JSON.

  • Close duplicate IDE instances before reconnecting.

MCP Server Connection Issues

  • Disable and re-enable MCP from your IDE settings.

Reinstall the MCP server.

claude mcp add UIPro --env IDE_SOURCE=claude -- npx -y @locofy/uipro-mcp@latest

  • For Gemini, run “Developer: Reload Window”.

Plugin Connection Problems

  • Keep the UIPro plugin open in Figma during generation.

  • Ensure you are logged in and the plugin status shows as Connected.

  • Check your internet connection and npm registry access.

Common Fixes

  • Update to the latest versions of your IDE and Node.js.

  • Reopen both Figma and your IDE after modifying configurations.

  • Check the IDE output or console logs for error messages.
